Troy Wilson is the Director of Operations for Golf Fit Learning Centers. He began the original Golf Fit at Los Verdes Golf Club in Denver, Colorado, almost fourteen years ago and was one of the first teaching professionals in Colorado to specialize in custom club fitting his students’ equipment. During Los Verdes’ evolution into Cherry Creek Country Club, Troy brought his passion for club fitting to GolfTec, a national golf instruction company, as an instructor and manager in Denver and North Carolina. At GolfTec, Troy further developed his clubfitting knowledge and teaching skills during thousands of lessons with students of all abilities and became even more convinced that he could achieve the best results during his lessons only when the student was playing clubs that were custom fit for them. In 2009, he decided to reopen Golf Fit at Plum Creek Country Club in Castle Rock, Colorado, with the vision of creating the first chain of golf instruction centers that focus on equipment and instruction equally.

Troy is a Colorado native. He is married and recently had his first child, a daughter named Taylor.

Pine Creek Golf Club

Chris Braden is the Director of instruction for Golf Fit Learning Centers of Southern Colorado located at the scenic Pine Creek Golf Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Chris is a native of Colorado and he was introduced to the game at the young age of five by his dad and grandpa and he has been hooked ever since. Chris has worked in and around the golf industry since he was a in his early teens and has a passion for teaching and playing. Chris is a student of the golf swing and he has developed his teaching style while working side by side with some of the best teaching professionals Colorado has to offer. Chris met Troy Wilson 15 years ago when he was developing the original Golf Fit Learning Center at the old Los Verdes Country Club in Denver Colorado which is now the beautiful Cherry Creek Golf Club. Chris shares Troy’s vision for making sure that all of his students not only develop a solid and repeatable golf swing but that they are also playing equipment that is suited to their swing and game. This way they will be able to take what they learn in training to the course and the result will be lower scores and increased enjoyment of the game.

Deer Creek Golf Club

David Hart is the Director of Instruction for Golf Fit Learning Centers and a third generation golf professional. During his competitive years, David was fortunate enough to learn the game of golf from his father and uncles who are all PGA Class A Professionals, and also study under swing gurus Mac O'Grady and Micheal Bennett. David specializes in the "Stack and Tilt" golf swing because it is simple and works. Although he considers himself primarily a "swing mechanic", tournament play has taught him the importance of learning to play the game of golf and not just swing the club. David joined Golf Fit Learning Centers because of his desire to help golfers play their best and because he believes that properly fit equipment promotes better technique and lower scores.

Dana Smith joins our team at Golf Fit Learning Centers with 25 years of teaching experience. Dana, former Director of Golf Instruction at The Stratton Golf School (Vermont & Scottsdale), The Mike McGetrick Golf Academy, and The Club at Flying Horse, brings his passion for helping others and his love for the game of golf to each and every lesson. Believing that there is a beautiful synergy between technique and equipment, Dana has each student explore their innate athletic motion and, with the aid of the latest in video analysis and clubfitting technology, helps each student form a personal game improvement plan that includes both physical and equipment considerations. Dana teaches all levels of players in a year round setting at Plum Creek Golf and Country Club, located in Castle Rock, Colorado.
